The shape transition between a rounded square and a circle is the basic geometry for this tableware. Dependent on which shape is on top and bottom, the tableware‘s geometry differs. Pots for serving meal have a more angular top shape. Pots you eat with and touches with your mouth have a more cuddly, round shape.
The tableware is constructed in ProEngineer. The pots are not individually modeled. I built a basic geometry with the shape transition, the material thickness and the bottom. By changing four parameters, I was able to generate every part of the tableware.
The parameters are: Top-shape (rounded square or circle), Diameter of top- and endshape, the distance between the two shapes.
